Hades 2 Release Date: When is it Coming to PS5, Switch, Xbox, and Other Platforms?
Early Access Release and Release Date
Hades 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the award-winning roguelite, will first be released in Early Access during Q2 2024, between April 1 and June 30. Supergiant Games, the developer behind Hades, has stated that Hades 2 will remain in Early Access until at least the end of 2025.
Platforms
At this time, Hades 2 has been confirmed for release on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Supergiant Games has not yet announced release dates or plans for Hades 2 on other platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
Future Releases
Given the extended Early Access period and the success of the original Hades on multiple platforms, it is likely that Hades 2 will eventually be released on consoles. The developers have stated that they are prioritizing the PC version for now and will consider other platforms once the Early Access phase is complete.
With the Nintendo Switch successor confirmed to be in development, it is also a possibility that Hades 2 may release on the new console. However, Supergiant Games has not made any official announcements regarding this.
